Development
We design and build applications, interfaces and integrations around the people who use them and the systems you already rely on.
What Development does
Enterprise development turns business requirements into software that can be deployed, understood and maintained. That can mean a new application, a replacement for a legacy tool, or an API connecting two systems. The choice of Power Platform, Azure or custom code follows the job the application needs to do.
Where it fits
When spreadsheets and workarounds have become a business process, it helps to step back before building another tool. We work with your team to understand the decisions, exceptions and data behind the workflow. From there, we choose a platform and a delivery approach you can support. A customer onboarding application, for example, may need a simple interface, an approval flow and connections to several existing systems.
Application engineeringChoose the right building blocks for the job.
We map users, business rules and data ownership before settling on an application design. Power Platform may suit a workflow-led business application; Azure services and custom interfaces may be appropriate where integration, scale or user experience calls for more control.
The design covers interfaces between systems as well as screens. We define API contracts, error handling and access rules so that the application behaves predictably when an external service is unavailable or the data is incomplete.
Legacy modernizationPreserve what the business depends on while changing how it is delivered.
An old application often holds rules that are not written down anywhere else. We examine how it is used, what it connects to and what its data means before designing a replacement. That gives your team a basis for deciding what to retain, simplify or retire.
We plan the transition alongside the build: data mapping, validation, coexistence where necessary and the point at which the new application takes over. Explore our legacy modernization offering for a fuller view of that work.
Tested deliveryMake release and handover part of the build.
We use versioned source and acceptance tests tied to the business workflow. Testing includes integration paths, access controls and the cases that are easy to miss when a demonstration only follows the happy path. Your team can review working software as delivery progresses.
Deployment documentation explains the environments, configuration and steps needed to release the application. We prepare the team responsible for operating it, and establish where maintenance or ongoing support begins.
What your team receives
Your team receives the source code included in the delivery scope, documented integration contracts, test evidence and deployment guidance. We walk through the application and its operating responsibilities so the handover is useful to the people who will maintain it.
Before we start
Before work starts, we discuss source ownership, access to existing systems, deployment environments and the skills available in your team. Licensing, security requirements and ongoing support need a place in that conversation as well. Support arrangements are set for the project rather than assumed.
