Power Platform

A spreadsheet passed between colleagues or an approval buried in email can be a useful starting point for a better application. We help you decide where Power Platform fits, then build around the people doing the work and the systems they already rely on.

Understanding Power Platform

Power Platform is Microsoft’s low-code platform for applications, automation, analytics, websites, and agents. Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio provide different building blocks. They can be combined with connected services and custom engineering where the requirement calls for it.

Where it fits in your business

It is useful when a process needs forms, shared data, approvals, or a clearer view of its progress. Low-code does not remove the need for design. We look at the process, volume, access requirements, and integration constraints before choosing how much belongs on the platform.

Applications and data

Start with the workflow, then shape the application around it.

We talk through what users need to enter, check, approve, and retrieve. That informs the interface, the data model, and the security roles. Dataverse may provide the shared data foundation; other sources may be appropriate where information already has a clear owner.

For example, an internal request application might need different views for the requester, reviewer, and administrator. We work through those responsibilities before the screens are built.

Workflow and integration

Connect the steps and deal with what happens when they fail.

An automation needs more than a successful demonstration. We design the approval path, notifications, connected systems, and the handling of missing information or a failed connection. Ownership and monitoring matter once the workflow becomes part of daily work.

Where a standard connector is not enough, we assess APIs or custom components. We explain the effect on security, licensing, maintenance, and support before committing to that approach.

Governed delivery

Give your team a route from a useful prototype to a maintained solution.

We plan development and production environments, access controls, deployment, and changes alongside the application itself. Solutions and release practices should suit the team who will run them, rather than becoming another process no one understands.

Testing covers user roles, data, integrations, and the exceptions that interrupt work. Documentation and knowledge transfer help the support team understand how the application is put together and where its boundaries lie.

What your team takes forward

You receive the solution design and the application or workflow components included in the project, together with test evidence and deployment guidance. We document the important decisions and show your team how to operate and maintain what has been delivered.

Starting the conversation

A useful first conversation includes the current process, its users, the information involved, and the systems it touches. We also review connector and licensing requirements, data boundaries, and who will own support after launch.
